Steps to Avoid Head Lice
Please check your child's hair regularly and treat if head lice are found. Treatment is available from the chemist or, for children, on prescription.
A routine weekly check is an effective measure as lice lay eggs every 7 days:
- Wash hair
- Condition
- While the conditioner is on the hair, comb through with a very fine toothed comb.
If this is done every week it will help keep down the number of outbreaks in our school.
